Is Shaheer Sheikh Entering Bollywood With A Yash Raj Film? Actor Reacts
There were reports of Shaheer Sheikh planning to make his debut in Bollywood with a Yash Raj Film. We caught up with the actor to know the real story.
Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke actor Shaheer Sheikh recently made headlines for reports of making a debut in films. It all started when Shaheer shared a picture with one of the best-known casting directors from the Hindi film industry, Shanoo Sharma, who is associated with Yash Raj Films and it threw his fans into a tizzy.
Looking at their excitement levels, we decided to speak with Shaheer and here’s what he told us, "No, I am not. I haven't signed any film yet". The actor’s reply has surely disappointed the ones who were excited to see him on the big screen.
Shaheer who is one of the most loved actors on the small screen rose to fame with his performance as Anant in Navya... Naye Dhadkan Naye Sawaal. It was his character of Arjuna in Star Plus’ Mahabharat that further brought him accolades. However, it was his role of Dev Dixit from Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi that brought him into the limelight and also increased his fan following. He then went on to become the Salim of the television industry by playing the iconic role in the serial Dastaan-E-Mohabbat Salim Anarkali. Although the serial didn’t work, Shaheer was loved for his portrayal of Salim. Currently, he is seen on the show Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke and amassing praises.
There is no doubt that Shaheer deserves to be seen on the big screen and his fans are eagerly waiting for the moment. But right now there seems to be no film for the actor on the anvil.
