The countdown has begun. Gul Khan’s Ishqbaaaz, starring Nakuul Mehta and Niti Taylor, is all set to bid its final goodbye on March 15. We got you all the details about it exclusively, a few days back. And now the serial’s lead actor, Nakuul has taken to Twitter to express his emotions about the show going off-air.
Nakuul, who has been playing the lead past 3 years, shared a long post with a caption that read, “3 years Over 750 Episodes Over 1000 shifts 99999 litres of sweat & blood (Subtle exaggeration) And Infinite love #IshqbaaazForever”
You may recall, we had told you that Ishqbaaaz will be replaced by Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlaata Hai’s spin-off, Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke, starring Shaheer Sheikh and Rhea Sharma. The show will get Ishqbaaaz’s prime slot of 10 pm and will air immediately after Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlaata Hai. While Ishqbaaaz will go off-air on March 15, Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke is expected to commence from March 18.
Ishqbaaaz took a leap in December 2018, focusing on the story of superstar Shivaansh Singh Oberoi (Nakuul Mehta), son of Annika and Shivaay (Surbhi Chandana and Nakuul Mehta) who is fighting a terminal disease and has only few days to live.
Talking about how the show will end, we had told you that it will have a happy climax as Sahil Chaturvedi’s character (played by Amar Upadhyay) will be unmasked as the main villain and Shivaansh will undergo a successful heart transplant. Well, now that show is going off-air in 15 days, we’re sure the actors will feel emotional and the fans too will miss the show immensely.
