Bigg Boss 15 fame Nishant Bhat is known for his amazing dancing talent and he is currently seen wooing audiences with his performances on the reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10.’ Nishant is undoubtedly among the top contenders of the show that is being judged by Karan Johar, Madhuri Dixit, and Nora Fatehi. Bhat recently gave a power-packed performance on the LGBTQIA+ community depicting their mental and emotional pain. His act left Karan numb and emotional.
Nishant dedicated his act to the LGBTQIA+ community. He performed the song ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ and during his act, he dressed up like a girl and depicted how he was mocked by society. Seeing his performance, judge Karan Johar was left speechless and shared that he too had gone through this. KJo said, “Main numb ho gaya tha kyunki main khud inn galiyon se guzar chuka hun (I have been through this phase in my life where I have been questioned for my choices.” Madhuri was equally moved by the act and admitted that society takes a long time to accept the LGBTQIA+ community. Karan Johar has often been trolled and criticized for his sexual orientation. The filmmaker has never really openly talked about his sexual orientation in the public except for in his book An ‘Unsuitable Boy.’ In one of its chapters, the 50-year-old director bared his heart saying everyone knows about his sexual orientation, he does not need to scream it out. “If I need to spell it out, I won’t only because I live in a country where I could possibly be jailed for saying this. Which is why I Karan Johar will not say the three words that possibly everybody knows about me,” KJo said.
Meanwhile, the upcoming Diwali special episode of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 will be graced by Ram and Sita aka Arun Govil and Dipika Chikhlia.
