Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 has already aired on television. It keeps fans glued to the television screens and they wait for the weekend for the new episodes. The contestant’s performances have garnered them standing ovations and even filled marks and some make them emotional. However, a dance performance by Nishant Bhat, who came as a wild card entrant made Karan Johar ‘numb’.

The makers have released a new and exciting promo for the upcoming episode in which Nishant Bhat’s dance performance leaves everyone emotional. He danced to the song ‘Meri Adhoori Kahani’ and dedicated the performance to the LGBTQIA+ community. Bhat showed the struggles of a person who belongs to the LGBTQIA+ community and how society perceives them. 




During the performance, he drapes a dupatta in the style of a saree and wears a ‘bindi’ and a voice-over can be heard in the background which says, “ladka hoke bhi ladki ke kapde pehen raha hai”. Madhuri Dixit was stunned by his performance and said, “LGBTQIA+ samaj inko accept krne ke liye ready nahi hota. Karan Johar was numb by seeing his performance, he said, “mein numb ho gaya tha kyuki mein khud in galiyon se guzar chuka hun”.

The video went viral and fans also praised him for the dance performance. One fan commented, “Words are not enough to show how proud I am of you Nishant. Thank you for this performance” and another comment read, “Hoping one day everybody understands LGBTQIA+ and respects them.”

You might remember Dutee Chand, an athlete who has represented India globally is the first athlete to come out publicly as a lesbian. She also appeared on JDJ 10 but had to quit the show due to national games.
