Paras Kalnawat is a prominent name in the television industry. He is known best for playing Samar in Anupamaa. With this role, he has garnered adulation and has become a household name. Now, Kalnawat has been roped in for the 10th edition of the celebrity dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ on ColorsTV
Paras has already impressed everyone on camera and proved his acting prowess. He recently completed five years of his acting career and expressed his feeling he shared a note on Instagram, “Grand Years As An Actor. I still remember the 14th of July 2017 when I stepped in as Sanjay Prince in Meri Durga for Star Plus. Since then it has been a roller coaster ride. Lots of ups and downs but I survived. I promise you all that this year would be bigger and better. Lots and lots of surprises and big news on the way. Keep Guessing and Keep all your love coming, it motivates me big time. Thank you so much for sticking next to me for 5 years with your support and love. I would need it for next 500Years even after I'm gone. I love each and every one of you. Talking about participating in the show, Paras confessed that he gets conscious while facing a live audience and has stage fright. Paras mentioned, “I’m really happy and excited to start my journey on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, as I always wanted to explore something new in life. I have neither performed on stage in front of the live audiences ever nor did any reality show before in my career as I get conscious being on stage. However, I’m a learner, I believe this show will be a great learning platform for me. Through ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’, I'll give it my all and strive to discover a new side of me.”
The show is back on television after a hiatus of five years. The prestigious panel of judges includes the head honcho of Dharma, ace filmmaker Karan Johar, dhak-dhak girl and timeless beauty Madhuri Dixit Nene with the International dance artist Nora Fatehi. The upcoming season is going to be bigger, more glamorous, and more entertaining than ever.
