'Comedy King' Kapil Sharma is all set to take the OTT world by storm with his upcoming stand-up special show titled ‘I’m Not Done Yet’. The makers have released several exciting promos of the show and it has already left fans excited. In a new promo, Kapil reveals how he proposed to his wife Ginni Chatrath over a drunk call and left her stunned. He even thanked a brand of alcohol for giving him the courage to propose his ladylove.
In a one-minute-long video shared by Netflix, Kapil is seen spilling the beans on his love story. The video opens with Kapil calling Ginni his “favourite actress as he says, "we used to do theatre together. I used to assign work a lot of work to her. She used to call me and report what happened and how much they had rehearsed today.” He added, one day she called him when he was drunk. “I had Officer’s Choice. I lifted the call and asked her, ‘Do you love me?’ She was shocked. She was wondering how did I get the courage. I am thankful that I didn’t have toddy else the question would have been something else,” the comedian jokingly said.
Later, Kapil turned to Ginni, who is seen sitting in the audience, and asks her what made her choose him. And, she steals the show with her witty reply. He asked her, “You are from a good and well-educated family. What made you love a scooter owner?” In response, Ginni says, “Maine socha paise wale se toh sabhi pyaar karte hai. Iss gareeb ka bhala hi kardun.” Her reply left Kapil and the audience in splits.
