For those who have come in late, Kapil Sharma’s equation with Sony was apparently affected after the comedian attacked his The Kapil Sharma Show co-star Sunil Grover while aboard a flight.

Kapil’s contract was supposed to be renewed in April but three months passed without an announcement.

Then there was the issue of Kapil’s health. Over the past couple of months, the comedian had fainted on the sets thrice.

In Dhir's Guest In London cast Paresh Rawal, Kartik Aryan, and Kriti Kharbanda were already on the sets to promote their film when Kapil fell ill and the shoot was called off.

Then Shah Rukh Khan and director Imtiaz Ali had to return from Filmcity after Kapil Sharma fainted just before the shoot was about to start.

The Mubarakan cast also returned without shooting as Kapil once again got sick.

But it looks like Sony and Kapil are making it work.
