Karan Oberoi In Jail: Sister Vani Cries Out, "Don't Want Parents To Come From Chandigarh And See Him In This State"
Parents of jailed Karan Oberoi in Chandigarh have been stopped in their tracks by his sister Vani, who stays in Versova, Mumbai. The lady tells SpotboyE.com that it would very harsh on her aged parents if they see their son in such a plight
It's all boiled down to a big mess in the Karan Oberoi case. The rape charges against him by an astrologer are not going to be very easy to ward off, but then you never know! So yes, Karan's sister Vani in particular is extremely optimistic that her brother will be granted bail very soon. Speaking to us last night, Vani said that the bail plea could not be completed yesterday and will be heard in full today.
"I am very hopeful that Karan will be out on bail soon. I shall stand by him, thick and thin. My brother is innocent," she again said emphatically. It may be recalled that Vani had eschewed similar sentiment in her EXCLUSIVE interview to us, soon after Karan was locked up in police custody at Oshiwara Police Station, last week. Added Vani, "I am going to go to the court tomorrow. I shall be going every time I get an opportunity. I shall not rest until Karan is freed."
So, have the parents finally come down from Chandigarh? In our last conversation with her, Vani had said that they haven't. This time, she explained why they're still away from the scene. "Look, Dad and Mom are aged people. I don't want them to see Karan in such a state. Also, Dad has not been keeping well since some time and needs a check-up almost every 3 days. Maybe I will call them after he is out from jail."
Karan's friends Anveshi Jain, Pooja Bedi and Sudhanshu Pande have been rallying around him. Said Vani, "Pooja is currently in Bali for some work. She is extremely worried there and has been calling up several times." We had also spotted Bollywood's make-up artiste Subhash Singh at the Oshiwara Police Station; Subhash and Karan are very close friends.
Currently, Karan is lodged in Taloja Jail (Kharghar, Navi Mumbai).
