Karan Patel On Playing Mr Bajaj, 'Ironically I Played His Son's Friend In The Original Kasautii Zindagii Kay'
We often hear stories of how life comes a full circle and something similar has happened with actor Karan Patel who will now play the character of  Mr.Bajaj in the hit TV show Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Today morning SpotboyE.com was the first one to tell you that Ekta Kapoor has chosen Karan over Gaurav Chopra and Sharad Kelkar to step into Karan Singh Grover's shoes and be the new Mr Bajaj.

And now Karan Patel shares his excitement of joining the show. He says,  " I look forward to playing Mr Bajaj and we begin to shoot next week it's going to be fun in many ways, to begin with, shooting post almost 3 months and most importantly the fact that I played the role of Mr Bajajs sons friend in the original and now helming the show as Mr Bajaj...life comes a full circle doesn't it."

Karan Singh Grover who was earlier playing the character of  Rishab Bajaj left the show last year as he felt there wasn't much left for his character. But in February, Grover was again set to make a comeback but then the lockdown was announced, putting the plans on hold.

After all this hold-up, Karan did not wish to continue with the show. Coincidentally just like Karan Patel, Karan Singh Grover was also part of original Kasautii Zindagii Kay as he played Mr. Bajaj's (Ronit Roy) son-in-law as he marries his daughter Sneha which was played by Jennifer Winget.

It will be interesting to see Karan Patel's new journey as Mr.Bajaj.
