Karan Singh Grover On Facing Rejection In The TV Industry: “I Felt That Nobody Wants Me”- EXCLUSIVE
Karan Singh Grover has been ruling the small screens yet again with his character of Rishabh Bajaj on the show Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 but did you know that the actor who is a heartthrob on TV was rejected several times before entering into this space. The actor who enjoys a good fan following faced a tough time in the beginning of his career.

Recently, while talking to us exclusively about his first audition, the actor revealed, "It was for a TV commercial (shaving gel). But you know I have been rejected a lot of times. It wasn't easy for me to get into the industry. Like I remember when I used to go for TV shows they used to reject me saying, ‘No, you have a very hard face, you should try for modeling instead. And when I used to go for modeling, they used to tell me, ‘Your face is very soft, you should try your hands in acting.’ And I used to feel like, ‘oh nobody wants me’. So it took a lot of time for me to get zeroed down for my first show. 


Well, like many actors Karan Singh Grover also has his own struggle story to share. However, beyond his acting skills, his charming looks make him a favourite with the fans. 

The actor who holds a degree in Hotel Management started his career with modeling and participated in Gladrags Manhunt. He won an award of the most popular model. However, his acting career took off with Ekta Kapoor's youth show Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi. But his character of Dr. Armaan in Dill Mill Gayye made him an instant hit and a teenage icon.
