Here comes another scoop from telly town. Vivek Dahiya and Karishma Tanna starrer Qayamat Ki Raat is all set to go off-air next month. But those who love watching supernatural dramas need not worry as your dose of thrill will remain intact. Well yes, the Star Plus show will be getting replaced by another supernatural series.
SpotboyE.com has it that Qayamat Ki Raat will be replaced with Divya Drashti- the promo of which is already out. The show stars Sana Sayyad, Sangeeta Ghosh and Mansi Srivastava as main leads. It is about a girl who sometimes gets possessed by a Devi. Watch the promo of the show:
Talking about Qayamat Ki Raat, which premiered on June 23 2018, it grabbed eye balls due to a controversy related to one of its characters Kalaasur (played by Nirbhay Wadhawa) as he was shown the door by makers due to his tantrums. However, Nirbhay had denied news of being thrown out and had told a media portal, "To start with, I was not removed; I quit the show. The main reason was that my eyes were getting hurt due to long hours of the Kalaasur lens usage. Such lenses are meant to be worn for four or five hours in one go, but in my case it was going up to twelve hours at a stretch. I spoke to the production house (Balaji Telefilms), and when they did not listen, I asked my ophthalmologist (eye specialist) to talk to them. Eventually, I decided to quit, for my vision is more valuable than anything else.” Coming to Divya Drishti, let’s see how fans react to it and if it manages to replace Qayamat Ki Raat successfully.
