Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 Bereaved Actor Parth Samthaan Resumes Shoot, Back From Pune After Performing Last Rites Of His Father
The Anurag Basu of Balaji's Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, Parth Samthaan whose father expired on Friday, faced the cameras yesterday at Killick Nixon (Chandivali), reporting for the 2 pm shift on time
On Friday, Parth Samthaan lost his father. Mr Lagathe was admitted to hospital on Thursday night in Pune in a critical condition and despite the doctors' best efforts, his health continued to deteriorate. Mr Lagathe had developed age-related problems and Parth was unable to reach before he breathed his last, despite the Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 actor driving off straight from the sets.
After performing the last rites of his father, Parth is now back to work. The Anurag Basu of Balaji's Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 faced the cameras yesterday at Killick Nixon (Chandivali), reporting for the 2 pm shift on time. A source from the set says, "Parth was very sombre throughout the day, he was very close to his father and he might take time to come out of it." It maybe recalled that Ekta Kapoor had ordered a pack-up on the sets for Friday and some of Parth's colleagues had even gone to Pune to be with him.

Mr Lagathe kept quite a low profile and was seldom seen in Mumbai. Few months ago, Parth bought a flat in Mumbai and said it was his gift to his Dad and Mum. Giving a sneak peek into his new home, Parth had posted some pictures, writing: "Gift to my Parents —-MY FIRST HOUSE IN MUMBAI This feeling is beyond happiness ! Since the time one travels to a new city to aspire his/her dream .. you are always away from your home .. and while pursuing your dream you want to get your ‘home sweet home’ asap .. So with god’s blessings ...finally m glad that I am able to achieve one of the goals from my wishlist #myownhouse #2801 #hariom Ganpati Bappa Maurya"
We stand by Parth in his hour of crisis. May God give Parth the strength to bear this loss.
