Actor Karan Patel has won the hearts of his fans as Raman Bhalla on the show Yeh Hai Mohabattein. A few days back Patel began shooting for the show Kasuatii Zindagii Kay 2 as the new Mr Rishabh Bajaj after Karan Singh Grover made his exit. While fans were anxious to know who will play the role next, SpotboyE.com exclusively shared the first look of the actor as Mr Bajaj. Now, as Karan Patel gets all set to win hearts as Mr Bajaj, he reveals Ekta Kapoor first approached him for Naagin 4.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Karan Patel mentioned he was approached for Naagin 4, but Ekta Kapoor considered him for the role of Mr Rishabh Bajaj. He said, "I was approached. Yes, but then Ekta decided that let’s not waste him here, as she was considering me for Mr Bajaj. Ek taraf Bajaj aur dusri taraf dasega toh kaise lagega and that’s when she decided to not do it."
Talking about co-stars Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes, Karan Patel revealed he never met them or interacted with them. He said, “I have never met them. Never even interacted with them. We have never crossed paths. I must have seen them around near the studio, but we never interacted much. “ As the actor spoke about his co-stars from Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, he mentioned that he does not know anyone on the set and revealed that for him, the experience is like going to a new batch after a vacation.
Meanwhile, just recently, Star Plus took to their Instagram account to introduce Karan Patel as Mr Rishabh Bajaj from Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. After a coming across a glimpse of Karan’s new look from the show as Mr Bajaj, television actors like Anita Hassanandani, Nakuul Mehta, Karanvir Bohra among many others heaped praises.
