Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2's Pooja Banerjee To Play Shabir Ahluwalia And Sriti Jha's Onscreen Daughter In Kumkum Bhagya
Kausautii Zindagii Kay 2 actress Pooja Banerjee roped in for Kumkum Bhagya, will be replacing Naina Singh to play Abha on small screen
Actress Pooja Banerjee resumed the shoot of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, has bagged a role in yet another popular TV show Kumkum Bhagya. As per reports in Times Of India, Nivedita Basu of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 will be soon seen as Abha in Kumkum Bhagya. The actress is reported to replace Naina Singh who plays the role of Abha. Explaining her goals to continue to work in TV soaps as well, Pooja enjoys a huge fan following on the social networking platforms.
Her character Abha will be actors Shabir Ahluwalia and Sriti Jha’s onscreen daughter. She was quoted saying by the publication, “I think I look younger than my age, so that won’t be a problem. Also, Sriti and Shabbir are relatively older than my age group, so playing the part won’t be a problem.” Though the actress was skeptical about signing the show, she is fortunate enough as both the shooting locations are located close by thus cutting down on her travel time.
Spilling the beans about safety measures taken on the TV sets, she said, “Even my make-up artist and the room will continue to be the same. It is important to take precautions and also continue working at the same time. I am maintaining social distancing at home and sanitising on the sets, too.”
After Parth Samthaan of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 was tested positive for the Novel Coronavirus, the rest of the cast & crew also took the test, Pooja was one of them and luckily was tested negative for it.
