Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2: Sahil Anand Opens Up On Quitting The Show; Says, 'My Decision Was Right At The Right Time'- EXCLUSIVE
Here's Kassautii Zindagii Kay 2 actor Sahil Anand speaking about his decision of quitting the show and his future projects
Sahil Anand, who essayed the character of Anupam Sengupta in TV show Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, recently disappeared from the show. SpotboyE.com had exclusively informed you that the actor had decided to quit the show and had informed his decision to the makers. Though no official announcement was done by the actor and makers but finally talking to us at length, Sahil opened up about his decision and also revealed he did agree for a comeback to shoot the last few episodes.
We asked Sahil if he wanted to quit the show before the announcement about the show going off-air was made and he said, "I wanted to quit Kasautii because I had other projects coming up, and my track wasn’t resuming. But my new project got pushed to a later date, and I received a call from the makers to come back for the last track. So, I thought why not. I did get to know that it’s going off-air. This show is actually very close to my heart. We’ve all become like a family now. It’s one memory that will always stay with me." Sahil also adds that his decision of quitting the show was right. "I think my decision was right at the right time. I actually thought I’d give it another one or two months but then the lockdown happened, and the storyline took another path. In the meantime, I got offers from various other projects, so I was considering those. But right now this one project I have has been pushed to either November or December. Before ending the conversation Sahil also disclosed to us what kind of roles he is looking for now. "I’m looking for something in the web space. I want to explore more on the web series front. Although I’m open to any interesting show, I’d love to play a character that’s raw, something real," concluded Sahil.
