Kaun Banega Crorepati 11: Anushka Sharma Hails Amitabh Bachchan’s KBC For Highlighting Rape Survivor Sunita Krishnan’s Story

On every episode of Amitabh Bachchan led Kaun Banega Crorepati 11, maker highlight an inspiring story of people, who have gone out and done their bit in a different story. One such story is of a rape survivor Sunitha Krishnan, who is a social activist and has rescued more than 20,000 children and women from sex trafficking. On the show, Sunitha revealed some of the horrific incidents of child and human trafficking. Seeing this, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma is all praises for Sunitha for doing incredible work and also hailed the makers for highlighting such stories on the show.

In a series of Tweet, Anushka Sharma wrote, “The incidents and the dirty realities that a crusader like  @sunita_krishnan  brought to light on the KBC episode are so shocking and hurtful. She has done and is doing such incredible work in rescuing women and young girls as little as 3 years old from sex trafficking. We are grateful that people like her exist in this world. And kudos to KBC for highlighting such amazing people on the show. @SrBachchan”

Talking about the same, Sunitha told IANS, “When I felt that there is an urgent need to help these victims, we created our own community of women named Prajwala which aims to contribute towards uplifting these girls. I am obliged to 'KBC' and Mr. Bachchan for giving us a platform where we can fearlessly talk about our journey with the world.”
