A few years back, Alia Bhatt was subjected to trolling when she wrongly answered on Koffee With Karan, where she had appeared on with Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra. For a long time, the Raazi actress faced a lot of criticism for her lack of knowledge. But now guess who has become the latest subject to the trolls? Well, it’s Sonakshi Sinha. The Mission Mangal actress recently appeared on reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 11 along with a social worker from Haryana, Ruma Devi.

During the show, when Sonakshi Sinha along with Ruma Devi was asked about a question from Ramayan, she used expert advice to answer the question. Netizen couldn’t digest to use a lifeline for such a basic question. The question asked, According to Ramayana, Hanuman fetched the Sanjeevani herb for whom? Options were – Surgriva, Lakshman, Sita, and Ram. Sonakshi and Ruma Devi think it was for Sita and then guessed Ram. The expert gives the answer Lakshman.

For those, who don’t know Sonakshi father’s name is Shatrughan Sinha, her brothers' names are Luv and Kush and her uncles' names are Lakshman, Bharat, and Ram. Even the bungalow she lives in is named Ramayana. During the show, Big B tells Poonam, not to show the episode to Sonakshi’s father and netizens started #YoSonakshiSoDumb on social media.

Soon after it was aired, social media users didn’t take long to troll the actress for her knowledge. A user wrote, “shame on Sonakshi Sinha who doesn't know basics of Ramayana that lord hanuman brought sanjivani for Draupadi ~ Ananya Pandey” While another said, “With due respect, Sonakshi's brother's names are Luv and Kush. Their home is called Ramayana, I think ... Her father is Shatrughan… She took a lifeline for this.



A netizen said, “People like Sonakshi Sinha are the ones who waste no time in teaching Hinduism to us on Diwali, Ganesh Chaturthi and Karwa chauth but in reality, their IQ is even below the temperature of Vostok Station, Antarctica.”



A social media user also said, “Shatrughan Sinha’s bothers are named Ram, Laxman, and Bharat. Sonakshi Sinha’s brothers are named Luv and Kush. Yet this woman can’t answer a basic question on Ramayan.”
