It was in a recent episode that he talked about taking up his first job before he made it big in Bollywood.
Amitabh Bachchan recalled the time when he worked in a coal mine. The megastar talked about his humble beginnings, and shared this anecdote as the contestant Ravi Kant also works in the same environment and is a coal miner. During the episode, Amitabh Bachchan talked about how the safety issues weren’t addressed back then in this field, and how things have changed today. Not many knew about this detail, and fans were in awe of how far Amitabh Bachchan has come.
As per reports, Amitabh Bachchan took up this job back in 1962 in Kolkata. During the promotion of his film Te3n, Big B had talked about working as a coal miner for about 7-8 years. He also opened up about the time he spent in Kolkata, remembering that he would love eating puchkapani opposite Victoria memorial.
