Somewhere in July, Amitabh Bachchan was tested positive for COVID-19 along with his son, Abhishek Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and granddaughter Aaradhya. After being admitted to Nanavati hospital, he stayed for a few days for his treatment. However, now the actor is recovered from the deadly virus and kick-started the shoot for Kaun Banega Crorepati 12. As he has come a long way now, Big B recently, in an episode of KBC12, revealed how he did a trick to increase his oxygen level during his COVID-19 treatment. Well, if one has contracted the virus, one's oxygen level also gets affected. Speaking about the same, a contestant named Arpana Vyas said that she got her oxygen level tested regularly as her oxygen saturation was low, reading 95-96 on the oximeter.
Recalling about his oxygen level, the actor then said how he dealt with the issue when he was in a Mumbai hospital, getting treated for COVID-19. He then mentioned the hospital staff would administer him medicine if his count dipped and used to check him every two hours. He was also told that the staff told him that if he had to get better, the count on the oximeter should be 98 but his level would stay at 92-93. Hence, he used a method to increase the count. Whenever the nurse used to come and check on him, he took a deep breath that made his count to 98. Upon hearing this, they both laughed.
In August, Big B announced that he has started working for KBC season 12 and also mentioned how the show was first aired 20 years back and he exclaims by saying 'that’s a lifetime.' He backed the picture on Instagram by saying, "It’s back to work.. in a sea of blue PPE.. KBC 12.. started 2000.. today year 2020 .. 20 years! Amaze.. that’s a lifetime!!"
