Kaun Banega Crorepati hosted by Amitabh Bachchan is one of the most entertaining quiz shows ever. Dreams of many commoners come true as they win hefty price amounts with their intelligence. However, a contestant recently had to go home with just Rs 3.20 lakh despite reaching Rs 50 lakh bar. A contestant named Saurabh Kumar Sahu surprised Amitabh Bachchan and the audience as he opted for a lifeline in the very first question itself.

Saurabh, however, then managed to get answers to many questions right and went on to answer a question for a price of Rs 50 lakh. By then, he had exhausted all his lifelines and had to answer without any help. He took a chance and gave the answer to the question - Who holds the record of serving as the governor of a single state for the longest period of time. Sadly, he gave a wrong answer and slipped down to Rs 3.20 lakh.

The correct answer to the question is MM Jacob. Saurabh with the price amount won aspires to buy a house for his mother and also help his father who struggled to get a government job.
