The 13th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati made the headlines after visually impaired Himani Bundela became the first contestant to win Rs 1 crore. The new format of the new seasons says every Friday will be made special by an episode of Shaandaar Shukravaar. This week legendary (former) cricketers Sourav Ganguly and Virender Sehwag will grace the show. Makers dropped a promo of the upcoming episode gave a glimpse of Virender Sehwag's epic sense of humour. Virender Sehwag bang on answers to some of the questions, left Sourav Ganguly and Big B laughing.
In the promo, Big B asks Sehwag about his habit of humming songs while on the cricket pitch. Sehwag gives him a live example by crooning 'Chala Jaata Hai Hoon' followed by gesturing his hand in a manner he has hit a ball. Also when asked what song comes to mind when he misses a catch while the team is fielding, Sehwag replies come with conditions applied. He says if the coach is Greg Chappell, he sings “Apni Toh Jaise Taise Kate Jaegi, Aap Ka Kya Hoga,” as he points finger at Sourav (referring to the spat between Dada and Chapell).
When asked what would be his reaction to winning a match against Australia or Pakistan, Sehwag asks Amitabh Bachchan to mouth his famous dialogue from Shehenshah. As Big B delivers his dialogue, “Rishtey mein toh hum tumhare baap hotey hain,” he is quick to respond, “Hum toh baap hai hi unke.”
Posting the promo, Sony Television wrote in their social media caption, “Kisson aur hassi se jamega shaandaar shukravaar ka rang, aa rahe hain Dada aur Viru #KBC13 ke manch par ek sang. Dekhiye inn dono cricket ke maharatiyo ko #KaunBanegaCrorepati ke iss pehle Shaandaar Shukravaar special episode mein, 3rd Sept, raat 9 baje, sirf Sony par.” Watch the promo-
