Amitabh Bachchan celebrates his birthday on the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati 13.
The Shahenshaah of Bollywood 'Amitabh Bachchan' is celebrating his 79th birthday today. Fans are leaving no stone unturned to shower birthday love on the megastar. Big B, who is currently seen as a host on Kaun Banega Crorepati 13, got a surprise from his fans on the sets of the show, and the makers have shared a video to give a glimpse into it.
As seen in the video, on Big B's special day, many of his fans came dressed up in some of his most popular characters from various films and got seated in the audience. The veteran star got emotional as his fans dedicated poems to him. One of his fans narrated his journey in a poem and mentioned his family members - his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan, mother Teji Bachchan, daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda and granddaughter Aaradhya Bachchan.
Another fan of Big B recited a poem about how the veteran star stood strong against all odds and successfully made a mark for himself in the industry, and how he has won millions of hearts over the years. An emotional Big B folded his hands thanking them all for the love. Amitabh Bachchan made his TV debut with Kaun Banega Crorepati in 2000, and has hosted all its seasons, except the third, which was hosted by Shah Rukh Khan. KBC 13 premiered in August.
Earlier today, Big B shared a collage of photos on Instagram and wrote, "Walking into the 80th..." Shweta Bachchan Nanda corrected him in the comment section by writing, "79th" followed by a heart emoji. Ranveer Singh called him 'gangster'.
The entire film industry has been wishing the star of the millennium a very happy birthday since morning.
