Kaun Banega Crorepati 13 Shaandaar Shukravaar Episode Promises To Be Filled With Fun And Inspiration As Olympic Medallists Neeraj Chopra And PR Sreejesh Grace The Hot Seat
Kaun Banega Crorepati 13’s Friday episode, also known as the 'Shaandaar Shukravaar', will see Olympic medalists Neeraj Chopra and P Sreejesh sharing their stories of struggle.
Kaun Banega Crorepati is known for its unique format and of course, the maverick of a host, megastar Amitabh Bachchan. Big B ensures the celebrity guests on the show have as much fun as the audience when they grace the hot seat. And Olympic medallists Neeraj Chopra and P Sreejesh were no exception. The show’s Friday episode, also known as the 'Shaandaar Shukravaar', is all set to get interesting as the two stalwarts will make an appearance.
For the uninitiated, Neeraj Chopra is the first Indian track and field athlete to win a gold medal for India at the Olympics. He won a gold in javelin throw at the recently concluded Tokyo Olympics. And PR Sreejesh - also nicknamed as 'Great Wall of India' - was instrumental in India's bronze-medal winning hockey campaign at Tokyo Olympics 2020.
In a video shared on Wednesday, the makers announced the appearance of Neeraj and Sreejesh and gave a glimpse of the stars with their medals on the show. Other promos feature the fun and candid banter between them and Amitabh Bachchan.
In one of the videos, Sreejesh and Neeraj are seen speaking about their respective struggles since 2012.
Sreejesh says he belongs to a farmer family. He narrates his story - how he went on to be selected for a hockey team. But unfortunately, his father did not have finances to provide him with the equipment. Sreejesh also recalls how he honoured his father upon winning the bronze medal.
