KBC 13 Shaandaar Shukravaar: Olympic Medallists Neeraj Chopra And PR Sreejesh Share What Inspired Them To Excel In Sports; Amitabh Bachchan Is Overwhelmed
In Kaun Banega Crorepati 13’s new promos, Neeraj Chopra and PR Sreejesh share why they took up javelin throw and hockey as their respective sports.
The upcoming 'Shandaar Shukravaar' of Kaun Banega Crorepati 13 will be graced by Tokyo Olympics winners Neeraj Chopra and P Sreejesh. The two made India proud with their brilliant performances at the Tokyo Olympics. During their stint on KBC, Neeraj and Sreejesh were at their candid best and enjoyed every bit of it with the host, Amitabh Bachchan. Right from giving the actor Haryanvi lessons to making him recreate his iconic dialogues, both the players had a great time sharing the hot seat with Big B.
The makers have released a new promo where Neeraj Chopra revealed why and how he took up javelin throw as a sport. He said, “I was overweight when I was 13-14 years old. My chachaji (paternal uncle) insisted that I should take up sports. There were a lot of sports at the stadium but I saw my seniors throwing javelin and I liked seeing it go very far and get stuck in the ground and I felt like I wanted to do the same. I tried it and enjoyed it very much.”
PR Sreejesh also shared what appealed to him to take up hockey as his sport. He also showed the megastar how to protect his goal. Amitabh Bachchan then moved ahead to try his hand at scoring a goal while Sreejesh performed his goal-keeping duties.
Neeraj, on the other hand, taught Amitabh Bachchan how to throw a javelin. In another promo, Amitabh Bachchan asked Neeraj Chopra and PR Sreejesh if he could touch their Olympic medals. He got overwhelmed when he did. Neeraj Chopra and PR Sreejesh's special episode will premiere tonight, on September 17.
