Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 Winner Arjun Bijlani On Claims Of Him Being 'Fixed Winner': ‘It Is Impossible To Cheat Under Rohit Shetty Sir’
Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 winner Arjun Bijlani has spoken about netizens' claim of the fixed winner.
Arjun Bijlani, who won the popular reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 11, has opened up about the fixed winner claims made by the fans of Divyanka Tripathi. The actress notably emerged as the runner-up of the show, and lost to Arjun by a minute margin of 20 seconds. Ever since the news of him winning Rohit Shetty’s show surfaced online, fans of other contestants, especially Divyanka Tripathi, have been calling out the makers for being 'unbiased' and 'fair'. Arjun has however asserted that it is sad to see that people do not even spare the host.
Elaborating further, Arjun Bijlani told Bollywoodlife, “It is very sad. This show is not based on who people like or the channel prefers. It is based on who performs a stunt faster or with more finesse. The finale stunt, I did it faster. The other day Divyanka did some stunts faster. I was better on that day, the channel was not doing the stunt. Once people see it, they'll know it is a tough stunt, and Divyanka was caught in the net for a while. Everyone who saw the stunt knew I did it faster.”
Arjun also added that since everyone wants their favourite to win the show, such claims are being made. “It is odd to think or assume that's how all reality shows work. I take such comments with a pinch of salt,” he further said.
The actor also opined that he knows that he cannot change people's thinking and is not bothered about those casting doubts and aspersions on people. He is concerned with those who are celebrating with him.
“Rohit sir is one honest person. He is very strict about safety and everything. It is impossible to cheat under him. People should realise this too. But then people also call hosts biased, what does one do,” Arjun Bijlani concluded.
