KKK 10: Did Karishma Tanna's Starry Tantrums Cost Her A Show? - Flashback Friday
Television actress Karishma Tanna is currently enthralling all with her daring performance in Khatron Ke Khiladi 10. However, we have got you some blast from the past. There were reports that Karishma was replaced in a show, all thanks to her starry tantrums.
Karishma Tanna has been entertaining her fans for years. The Television actress did many roles on the small screen and even went on to feature in Ranbir Kapoor's one of the most acclaimed films, Sanju. She was even a contestant in one season of Bigg Boss. Currently, the lady is seen pulling off some daring stunts in Rohit Shetty's show Khatron Ke Khiladi. From bracing her fears to doing some comedy, Karishma Tanna is putting up a great show for the audiences in KKK 10. However, there was a time when she was said to have had starry tantrums that even cost her a show.
In 2017, there were reports stating that Karishma Tanna had to be a part of a show called Comedy Dangal. She got later replaced by Surbhi Jyoti at the last minute and it was being speculated that she was giving tough time to the makers. Thus, compelling makers to find her replacement. DNA had a source quote stating, "Karishma was also supposed to don a movie look, but she started giving a tough time. She kept making changes in her look and though the production house tried to accommodate them, she didn’t finalise them till late in the night. Finally, the makers decided to replace her and got Surbhi Jyoti, instead. Now, she will be seen in Anushka Sharma’s look from Sultan in the promo."
Later, in an interview with Tellybuzz, Karishma denied all these reports and stated that she could not do the show because of date issues. She was quoted saying, "Yes, the news about me being replaced is absolutely true however the reason is not! My dates could not match. The production house is like a family to me so me being replaced because of the reason mentioned is out of question. We tried working on the dates but since it was clashing, we mutually decided for a replacement.” Okay then!
