Krushna Abhishek Reacts To Bharti Singh's Drug Case Row; Says, 'Kapil Sharma And I Are With Her, She Has My Unconditional Support'
Krushna Abhishek reveals he was among the first ones to meet Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa after their bail in the drug case.
Popular comedian Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa’s arrest over their alleged involvement in a drug nexus had shaken everyone. It took place after the NCB seized a certain amount of ganja (drugs) from their residence post a raid. The couple was soon out on bail. This controversy, however, garnered a mixed response from Bharti’s colleagues. While many came out in her support, a section of celebrities criticised. Comedian Krushna Abhishek and Kapil Sharma belong to the former category. In a conversation with TOI, he revealed that he will always support Bharti and that she’s like a sister to him.
Krushna said, “I will support Bharti. She should get back to work. Jo ho gaya woh ho gaya (Whatever has happened, has happened). We stand by Bharti and both Kapil (Sharma) and I are with her. She has my unconditional support.” He further revealed how he has known Bharti and Haarsh way before they tasted success. Krushna, in fact, was among the first ones to meet the couple post their bail. “Arti (Singh) ko chhod kar agar meri koi baahar sister hai jisko main proudly behen bolta hoon, toh woh Bharti hai (Bharti is the only one I proudly call my sister apart from my real sibling, Arti),” added Krushna.
Opening up further on his love for Bharti, Krushna said, “Bharti has stood beside me through thick and thin. She was the first person to meet me when my father was unwell and also when he passed away. She was the first person to call me when I had my twin boys.”
He continued, “I fell sick while hosting an award function with Maniesh Paul, but Bharti filled in for me without batting an eyelid. Kaun karta hai kisi ke liye aisa. That’s the bond we share. So, I had to meet her at any cost after she was released. I don’t know about the world and others, but I am standing by Bharti.”
