Kundali Bhagya actress Ruhi Chaturvedi who essays the role to Sherlyn got engaged to Chhoti Sardaarni actor Shivendraa Saainiyol on August 17. We now have it that the couple is getting married next month. The two have been friends since 13 years will become man and wife on December 2. The wedding will take place in Nazar Bagh Palace, Jaipur following all the traditions.
The functions will kick-start from November 30 with a mehendi ceremony in the afternoon. The Haldi ritual will happen on December 2, at 12 noon and the baarat and wedding pheras will take place in thr evening on the same day. The two have planned a long celebration, so yes there's a Sangeet party too which is on December 3.
Post her engagement talking to Bombay Times, Ruhi had said, "Shivendraa and I have been friends since 13 years, but the thought of marrying each other never crossed our minds till our families suggested it. My father met his father and things fell into place. So, despite knowing each other for so long, we are getting into an arranged marriage".
Ruhi had further elaborated, “I had a major crush on him when I had just met him. However, we fell madly in love after our parents decided to get us married. He is totally unlike me — calm, level-headed and simple. That’s what I like the best about him.”
Now we just can't hold our excitement to see these lovebirds in their wedding attires with their industry friends around them.
