Kundali Bhagya Star Dheeraj Dhoopar On Completing 12 Years In The Industry: ‘It Still Feels Like I Have Just Arrived’
Today marks a very special day for model and actor Dheeraj Dhoopar, as on this day the actor completes his 12 years in the industry. Dheeraj, popularly known for his stint as cricketer Karan Luthra in Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya, initially started as a model in Bangalore where he did a lot of print shoots and TV commercials, before moving on to daily soaps. Since then, there has been no stopping him.

However, acting was never a part of Dheeraj’s original career plans. It was a matter of chance that he one day got a call from Director's Kut productions for an audition and that was the beginning of his journey as a successful TV actor.

Dheeraj has been quite active in the daily soaps, especially for the past eight to nine years. During his 12-year stint, he has been a part of successful shows like Sasural Simar Ka, where he played the lead character of Prem Bhardwaj, replacing Shoaib Ibrahim. Post that, he has been a part of the ongoing show Kundali Bhagya since its inception in 2017. The actor was also seen in a short film titled "Yellow", which marked his debut as a producer as well.

Talking about achieving this feat of completing 12 years in showbiz, Dheeraj says "I can't believe it is 12 years already. It still feels like I have just arrived. It was my mom who always pushed me to try my hand in acting and the credit for all this goes to her and also to my family who has supported me in everything that I have done. Surely there have been a lot of ups and downs but that has made this journey even more special. By saying this, I would also like to add that soon my fans will see me in a new avatar".
