Kushal Punjabi's Best Friend Chetan Hansraj Leaves Mumbai For A Few Days: 'Couldn't Take It Anymore. It's Been Very Rough'- EXCLUSIVE
It indeed has been rough 3 days for Kushal Punjabi's family and friends. His best buddy, Chetan Hansraj is coping with the loss and has decided to go away from the city for a while
Kushal Punjabi's death has left his family shattered and friends in a state of shock. The actor committed suicide on Dec 26. His funeral was held the next day after his estranged wife, Audrey Dolhen arrived from France.
Kushal's body was found hanging from the ceiling of his house, when his parents along with best friend, Chetan Hansraj entered his house (opening it with a duplicate key).
We have been in touch with Chetan on a regular basis. He was the unfortunate one to bring down his friend's body. Needless to say that the actor is finding it extremely difficult to cope with the loss.
Kushal and Chetan have been friends for over 20 years and were extremely close. They used to exchange messages with each other on a regular basis and was always there for one another at the first opportunity. Chetan and Kushal were also a part of a biker group and went riding regularly.
Of course, with such great bond, it's getting difficult for Chetan to come to terms that his friend, Kushal will no longer be a part of his life. The actor has decided to get away from the city for a while and is travelling to Gujrat to his relatives house, with the entire family.
We spoke to Chetan before he departed from Mumbai and he told us, "It has been extremely rough for me past a few days. I am finding it difficult to be around and want to get away from Mumbai. We decided just last evening to leave for Gujrat."
Chetan further added that he is still under tremendous shock, "My body is still shaking with the thought that Kushal is gone. Can't take it anymore. I need to be away for a while."
