This morning, ex-Bigg Boss contestant Karanvir Bohra took to Instagram and shocked one and all with his post, informing all about Kushal's demise. Kushal, who was recently seen in TV show Ishq Mein Marjaawan, has not only done many TV shows but has also been a part of films like, Salaam-E-Ishq, Lakshya, Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal, Andaaz among others. As condolence messages have started pouring in since morning, Punjabi’s Lakshya director Farhan Akhtar took to Twitter and wrote a heartfelt note. His tweet read, “Shocked and saddened to hear of Kushal Punjabi taking his own life. Have fond memories of working with him on Lakshya and witnessing him kick everyone’s behind at boot camp. For those who haven’t watched Lakshay, Kushal Punjabi plays the role of Rajeev in Hrithik Roshan led 2004 released Lakshya. He portrayed the role of Preity Zinta’s fiancé. Kushal played a pivotal role in the film.

Kushal Punjabi was found hanging in his Mumbai house by his parents and friend Chetan Hansraj. He was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead. The actor did not blame anyone in his suicide note but mentioned distributing his assets to his parents and his son.
