Kushal Tandon opens up about reports which claimed that he dated Sushant Singh Rajput's ex-girlfriend, Ankita Lokhande. Here's what he has to say
Kushal Tandon, who has been receiving all praises for his character of Sufiyaan Abdullah in Bebaakee is quite vocal about his opinions. The actor is playing a media house owner in the latest show, however, in real life, recently he was seen slamming a media house for reporting a story about him dating Ankita Lokhande who was a former girlfriend of Sushant Singh Rajput.
As per the report, Kushal and Ankita dated each other after her breakup with Sushant. And this definitely didn't go well with the actor who bashed the publication by tweeting , "This is a shame journalism like really, I was a friend of both ,Sushanth was a brother and @anky1912 a friend , at this time who so ever z team is trying to get my name in this blame game ... plz keep me out of this ....... shocking how we live in a world of news.” Following this tweet, Kushal addressed Sushant as a diamond who must be laughing from heaven looking at the scenario after his death, which is nothing less than a circus. "This is a very sensitive time to talk about all this. And I don't want my name to be dragged in all this and if I dated her or not dated her that's definitely should not be a point of discussion especially in these crucial times. There was no authentication to that report they just went on writing a triangle about three of us not realising Ankita is getting married, Sushant is no more who was also a friend of mine. I am not from that school who dates friends' girlfriends. I am from a boarding school from a boy coach where we have some ethics. We dont date around friends' girlfriends. Social media has become an integral part these days and when I saw they have reported something wrong I decided to write about them which is my right."
Kushal concluded by saying, "I let my friend's soul rest in peace. Whatever CBI is doing we have faith in that. Hoping for justice."
