Television actor Amit Sarin, who is popularly known for featuring in the show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi has tested positive for COVID-19. Sarin, who has relocated to Los Angeles a few years back informed his fans with a video post on social media. He mentioned that his wife Vineesha and two kids have also contracted the deadly virus. Amit Sarin has garnered a huge fan base in India due to his performance in shows like Nisha Aur Uske Cousin, and Pavitra Rishta as well.
Speaking with IANS, Amit Sarin revealed that it has been six days since his wife Vineesha and children tested positive. The actor mentioned that they were asymptomatic but it was mentally a jolt. He said, “It has been six days now Vineesha, the kids and I have tested positive. Mentally, it was a jolt initially, but the good thing was that we were asymptomatic. And that is the silver lining." Sarin posted a video of his son getting tested for the virus, with the caption, “So yes first time being positive is not a nice feeling but we are all okey and dealing with it. Proud of my kids, their smiles, cry made this all so emotional for us. Stay blessed, take care. Maintain all the guidelines carefully. Meanwhile, Amit Sarin also mentioned that he and his family immediately boosted their intake of vitamin C, D and zinc, after testing positive. He shared that they are having lots of water and fresh vegetarian food. Sarin revealed that his family’s daily routine has been the same and mentioned that they are doing most the same thing they were doing during the entire pandemic for the last 8 months. Work-wise, Amit Sarin is currently producing a film titled Tiger Heart.
