Kangana Ranaut, who is currently hosting the reality show ‘Lock Upp’, lost her calm when contestant Anjali Arora targeted her fellow contestants Nisha Rawal and Payal Rohatgi with her ageist remarks. A recent promo has been shared by the makers where 'fiery' Kangana slammed Anjali for age-shaming Payal and Nisha on the show. Anjali had referred to some of her fellow celebrity contestants as 'buddhi (old woman)'.
In the previous episode during one of the segments, Anjali got into a verbal spat with Nisha and Payal. Payal told Anjali that she should know how to stand and speak in front of experienced people to which Anjali passed some ageist remarks on her. She responded, "Haan toh buddhon ke liye bhi nahi jagah nahi hai na ye… bachchon ke saamne buddhe khade hain”. In the latest episode, badass host Kangana lashed out at the social media influencer for her statements.
In the Judgement day episode, Kangana was seen asking hard-hitting questions from Anjali on her recent remarks made on Payal. She asked her, “what will you call me? Since I am a little older than you and you are age-shaming everyone? Aunti or Budhi? Jo bhi sab aapse bade hai voh bhudhe hai? Main kis age group mein aati hun?
Anjali tried to justify her statement by saying that everyone in the jail is targeting her because she is young. Kangana again angrily asked her if she would talk such things, what does someone is supposed to call her if not a kid? Kangana said, “Aap jab aisi batein karti hai to aapko bachi nahi kahenge to kya kahenge”.
Clearly, Kangana was miffed with Anjali for passing such age-shaming remarks and perhaps Anjali learned a lesson from the jailor. The show streams daily on AltBalaji and MX Player.
