Actor Malvi Malhotra was brutally stabbed by one of her friends named Yogesh Mahipal Singh. She was stabbed in her abdomen and both her hands as she allegedly refused to get married to him. After the barbarous incident, she was then admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, in Mumbai due to which, she had to undergo plastic surgery as well. As the actor is recovering from the scars, she falls into trouble once again. Malvi recently took to her Twitter handle and shared a note saying she is scared of her life as she has been receiving some death threats from some strangers after the brutal attack. For the same, she even sought security from the government and police officials. Malvi even mentioned she is in trauma and in constant fear.
While sharing the note on her micro-blogging site, she even tagged the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Home Minister of Maharashtra, Anil Deshmukh and Mumbai Police. Her note started with, "I Malvi Malhotra wish to bring your urgent notice the following facts for your scrutiny. Since the brutal attack on me by Yogesh Kumar, I have been receiving death threats from strangers who told me that I haven’t done the right thing and warned me of serious consequences to me and my family members."
She later expressed gratitude towards the Mumbai police, "I also appreciate the efforts of Mumbai police in arresting Yogesh after the attack he carried onto me and have been trying to keep my morale up at every step," her note read. She then concluded the note by saying, "I request you to intervene and provide me and my family members with police security to prevent such attacks as I’m in trauma and in constant fear of this incident replaying itself."
Reportedly, Versova police have arrested the producer and taken the 31-year-old into custody. The producer was taken into custody after he was discharged from Platinum hospital in Vasai late on Wednesday. Yogesh was then produced before Andheri metropolitan magistrate court on Thursday and has been sent to police custody till November 2.
