Actress Mannara Chopra won the hearts of the audience with her participation in Bigg Boss season 17. Crowned as the second runner-up, she constantly made the headlines for her feud with Ankita Lokhande and her friendship with Vicky Jain and Munawar Faruqui. Months before entering the show, she was embroiled in a controversy where Telugu director AS Ravi Kumar planted a kiss on her cheek, forcibly, during the promotion of their film Thiragabadara Saami, which had left the netizens furious.
Now weeks after coming out of the show, she has opened up about Salman Khan’s reaction to the entire matter. For the unversed, while introducing her during the grand premiere of Bigg Boss 17, the 58-year-old actor mentioned the kiss controversy that happened in August 2023. Recalling the entire thing, the Zid actress stated that she was unaware that Salman’s introduction of her had gone viral on social media. However, having dealt with his own fair share of controversies, her told her not to be too bothered. Quoted by Bollywood Shaadis, she said, “Maine toh aake dekha woh video bhi dala hua online, Salman sir wala. Mein bilkul opposite hoon apne real life ki personality se, joh aapne Bigg Boss mein dekhi hai. But yes, Salman sir said that you should not be bothered about such events. I never knew it will get viral like that. Mujhe ekdum laga ‘what was this?’. Talking about Bigg Boss 17, the controversial reality show was won by comedian Munawar Faruqui. He took home the trophy of Bigg Boss season 17, a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh, and a brand-new Hyundai Creta. While Abhishek Kumar became the first runner-up, Mannara Chopra bagged the title of the second runner-up beating Ankita Lokhande and Arun Mahashettey.
