The show Mere Dad Ki Dulhan has been earning a lot of appreciation as it features Shweta Tiwari and Varun Badola in pivotal roles. On the show, Shweta is winning hearts playing the character of Guneet Sikka and was seen going on a bad date with Randeep. As a scene from Jab We Met for the bad date ritual was recreated, according to reports, while shooting for a scene on the sets of Mere Dad Ki Dulhan, Shweta burns the palms of her hand.
In the recent episodes of Mere Dad Ki Dulhan, Randeep aka Fahmaan Khan was spotted suggesting to Guneet that she should vent out her frustration by burning the saree and scarf she was dressed in for the date. Recalling the time shooting for the scene, speaking with Times of India, Fahmaan Khan said, "It was fun doing the bad date ritual scene with Shweta ma’am. It was quite a stress buster for us.” Khan revealed how he had a lot of fun shooting for the scene with Tiwari.
Moving on, as Shweta and Fahmaan recreated a scene from Jab We Met where Aditya is seen asking Geet to take the person's photograph, burn it down and flush it in the toilet, Khan disclosed that in the process Tiwari burned down her hands. Talking about how the fun time was also sad, he said, “ But the sad part is, she ended up burning her hand a little while seizing the fire. The fire had caught on to the curtains and before it could spread more, Shweta ma’am tried to cease it. Everyone thought she is improvising the scene, but she had partially burned her hands in the process."
Meanwhile, as the bad date ritual scene did not go as planned on the sets of Mere Dad Ki Dulhan, Fahmaan Khan explained how the fire led to curtains and Shweta tried ceasing it before it could spread more. Needless to say, Shweta Tiwari was definitely a saviour to the production house as well the crew by trying to avoid the fire from spreading more, but eventually landed up in burning down her own hands. Also Read: Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 SPOILER: Prerna Begins Her Revenge Game; Leaves Anurag In Despair – Video Inside
