It's time for celebrations in the Khanna and Gupta household, as television actress Smriti Khanna has been finally blessed with a baby girl. The Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi fame, who was keeping fans updated with all her pregnancy shenanigans, gave birth to her baby girl today, which is on April 15, at 4 PM in a Khar-based hospital. Her husband Gautam Gupta, in an interview with Times Of India, revealed that both mother and the baby are doing perfectly fine and they managed to reach safely at the hospital.
He was quoted as saying, “We stay at Juhu and the hospital is in Khar. We drove alone in the car amidst the lockdown and safely reached the hospital. I am happy that everything is safe and good, especially when the country is going through a lockdown.” Great news indeed! It was on the sets of Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi that Smriti and Gautam fell in love and eventually tied the knot in the year 2017.
In the month of December last year, Smriti Khanna had first announced her pregnancy with a super-delightful video. It saw Smriti wearing the mom-to-be shoulder band, while Gautam was sporting a dad-to-be shoulder band. “Mom-to-be and super dad-to-be fighting for balloons Thank you @mona_arrora @anilvkumar04 sir for this surprise celebration. it was so so cute love you soooo much," read her caption.
