Mohena Singh Wedding: Actress To Perform The Traditional Ghoomar Dance At Her Sangeet Ceremony- EXCLUSIVE

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain actress Mohena Singh is all set to take wedding vows next month. She is getting married to Suyesh Rawat in Haridwar on October 14 in a grand ceremony. As we all know Mohena belongs to the royal family of Rewa, the ceremony will follow all the royal customs and traditions. Right from her mehendi to sangeet, everything will be done in Rajputana style which is scheduled to happen on October 13. Of late, a new trend of performing on Bollywood songs during Sangeet ceremony has kicked in. But, Mohena and Suyesh’s Sangeet function will not follow on the same lines.
Talking about her Sangeet ceremony, Mohena told us, "My Sangeet will have ghoomar and I will be performing. It is not new for me as I have done it many times on my show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The only difference is that was supposed to be little filmy, but here we will perform it in a traditional way. That art of dance is performed in our culture. We will be having sangeet ceremony but differently. As we are not even allowed to see each other so we will be attending our respective sangeet ceremonies (laughs). We so much believe in all these rituals that I have not even seen his house till now".
Yesterday, we also told you that Mohena will be wearing a Rajputi Poshak on her wedding day which is reportedly being designed by ace fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherji. She said, "It's true that I will be wearing a Rajputi Poshak for my wedding which is getting ready. However, I can't disclose the designer for now. I have grown up looking my grandmother and mother's royal wedding pictures and it has always excited me. In fact, not only for my wedding but for other functions too, I will be wearing royal outfits."
