Fans of Mohit Raina were left in deep shock when rumours about his alleged divorce started doing the rounds on the internet. It all started when he archived his wedding pictures with his wife Aditi Sharma. Netizens began to speculate that the couple might be going through a rough patch in their marriage. However, the actor has now opened up about the rumours and called them ‘baseless’.
Speaking about the same, during an interaction with Indian Express, the Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev actor rubbished the rumours and revealed that he is happily married. He went on to share that he along with his wife are currently celebrating their first wedding anniversary in Himachal Pradesh. He said, “I really don’t know from where it started, it was carried by an online portal. I am happily married and celebrating my first anniversary in Himachal Pradesh. For the unversed, Mohit and Aditi tied the knot in an intimate ceremony amongst their family and friends. According to his interview, they met through a common friend. After connecting with each other over fitness and eating, they decided to take a step further after meeting each other’s family during the second pandemic. On the work front, after impressing the audience with his acting as Lord Shiva in Devon Ke Dev… Mahadev, Mohit went on to make his Bollywood debut with Aaditya Dhar’s critically acclaimed movie Uri: The Surgical Strike. In the same year he even made his OTT debut with the web show Kaafir. He has also appeared in Amazon Prime Video’s series Mumbai Diaries 26/11.
