Mom-To-Be Ekta Kaul Says She Went On An Adventurous Bike Ride In Ladakh Amid Pregnancy; ‘I Was Unaware’
OOPS! Unaware that she is pregnant with her first baby, Ekta Kaul reveals she had gone on an adventurous bike ride in Ladakh
It was on Sunday that telly couple Ekta Kaul and Sumeet Vyas announced that they are expecting their first child by sharing a delightful picture of Ekta flaunting her baby bump. Sumeet also revealed that Ekta is expected to go into labour by June. However, did you know that it wasn’t until her adventurous bike ride in Ladakh that Ekta realised she is pregnant? In a conversation with Mumbai Mirror, the couple spilt the beans on Ekta’s first pregnancy and how they spending their time amid the lockdown.
Ekta revealed, “I’m meditating, reading books and watching movies. Anyway, after all the household chores, you don’t get much time to think." To which, hubby Sumeet Vyas added, "I don’t know when I will get alone time with her again, especially after our child is born. I always thought if I spent too much time with someone, we’d end up getting irritated. But we aren’t fighting much, so I guess that proves I’m not a bad companion."
Further, the actress added how she took a bike ride in Ladakh, unaware that she is pregnant. Upon being asked if she knew about her pregnancy, Ekta added, “I didn’t, but I felt like a rock star when I learnt the news on my return. I had gone to meet Sumeet who was shooting in Ladakh and wanted to explore the place. So, I made some friends with the crew and we all went for a bike ride. Throughout the trip, I was feeling slightly unwell and marked it down to altitude sickness."
In an exclusive conversation with us, Ekta revealed hubby Sumeet’s first reaction to her pregnancy, “My mom and dad were the first ones who got to know about it. Since I tested myself at 4 am in the morning and then I waited until 6 am and then shared the news with Sumeet. I remember he was in deep slumber and he told me wait give me 10 mins. I can’t register it right now. I will call you back and then he called back and we had our moment.” Read the full conversation here.
