TV Monika Bhadoriya, who is best known for playing Bawri on 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, has been making headlines for sharing her ordeal of working on the show in public. From talking about having social thoughts, calling TMKOC male-chauvinist to accusing Asit Modi of sexual harassment and torture, Monika has leveled some serious allegations against the producers. Now in a new interview, the actress revealed why she opened up about the work culture at Taarak in the media.
Speaking with Bollywood Bubble, Bhadoriya stated that she wanted to bring out all the wrong things that the producers of TMKOC had done with her. “I just wanted to be open about my experience and what I had felt throughout. I just wanted to share this with my fans and media. There is no revenge or avenge in this,” she was quoted saying. The actress even revealed that the production head of the show Sohail was very rude towards the actors as he often fought with them and even once raised his hand. Monika shared, “He is rude to everyone, and sometimes, because of this behaviour, he gets into a brawl with the artists. Even though he got into so many fights with the actors, he is still the production head, and instead, artists are leaving the show.” ALSO READ: ‘I Had Suicidal Thoughts’ Says Monika Bhadoriya As She Recalls Working On TMKOC; ‘All This Torture Made Me Feel I Should Commit Suicide’
Recalling one incident, she revealed that one of her co-stars had to send medicine to his ailing mother so he got late. And when Sohail learned about him arriving late on the sets he raised his hand on him. “Sohail started yelling at him and he even raised his hand, and there was a lot of chaos. I am a witness to this incident,” Monika said.
In 2019, Monika quit Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah after playing the role of Bawri for six years. Navina Wadekar replaced her on the show.
