Ankita Lokhande, known for her role in Pavitra Rishta, made headlines last year for participating in Bigg Boss 17 alongside her husband, Vikas Jain. The aftermath of their stint on the reality show was intense, with the couple facing heavy trolling for their behaviour on the show. The challenging environment of Bigg Boss often brings out the worst in people, and Ankita and Vicky were no exception. Even after Bigg Boss ended, Ankita struggled to cope with the aftermath. In a recent interview, she revealed that she experienced anxiety issues and even discussed slipping into depression with Vicky. She had trouble sleeping and suffered from palpitations due to constant worrying. However, with the support of her family and Vicky, Ankita was able to overcome these challenges. "Mujhe Khauf hogaya tha cheezon ka… but now everything is fine. Ye sab cheezein theek hui because I had the support of my entire family," she tells Etimes.

Ankita emphasized that anxiety and depression are not taken seriously in India and credited her loved ones for helping her through it. She expressed gratitude for their support, stating that she has now returned to her previous self. Despite the difficult period after Bigg Boss, Ankita has moved past it and is focusing on her work.




On the professional front, Ankita has been busy with projects like Swatantrya Veer Savarkar and Laa Pila De Sharab. She recently starred in a project alongside Vicky Jain and Saurabh Sachdeva from Animal fame. Despite the challenges she faced post-Bigg Boss, Ankita is determined to move forward and leave the past behind.
