Naagin 5: Asim Riaz Is Out, Paras Chhabra Jumps In The Race To Play The Lead In Ekta Kapoor's Supernatural Show? Here's The Truth
Ekta Kapoor’s hit franchise Naagin 4 is going off-air and this news has definitely made her fans upset. But on the brighter side, the makers have already announced for Naagin 5, leaving everyone super excited. The fourth season which saw Nia Sharma and Vijayendra Kumeria in lead roles will have a conclusive ending once the lockdown is lifted. However, as the arrival of season 5 was announced, who will be next Naagin has been buzzing a lot in the media. Several names have emerged on who will be essaying the female lead including Bigg Boss fame Mahek Chahal, Dipika Kakar and Hina Khan and Shivin Narang.

Now there have been reports that another Bigg Boss contestant is said to essaying the lead role and he is none other than Paras Chhabra. The actor who enjoys a huge fan base after the fame in Bigg Boss 13 is believed to be a part of Naagin 4 and if you’re excited to see him onscreen, let us tell you that nothing of those sorts is going to happen as Paras is not doing the show. Earlier, rumours were rife of Bigg Boss 13 runner-up & popular model Asim Riaz playing the male lead in Naagin 5 opposite popular TV bahu Divyanka Tripathi. However, both of them rubbished the reports. Well, as Paras is also not a part of the show, we wonder who will be coming on board.

Meanwhile, Rashami Desai was the latest entrant in the show who played the role of Shalakha – the replacement of Jasmin Bhasin but due to COVID-19 crisis, even she is no longer to be associated with Naagin 4. After the exit of Desai, the makers have also informed the leads of the show Nia and Vijay about the end of the show.

The makers claimed that the decision is not taken on the basis of the budgetary constraints completely, the fact that despite all the experimentations, the show couldn't meet the expectations which forced them to take this step. ALSO READ: Divyanka Tripathi On Being The Next Naagin Of Naagin 5: 'I Am Not Part Of It, False News'
