Naagin 5: Bigg Boss 12 Winner Dipika Kakar Approached To Play The Lead In Ekta Kapoor’s Supernatural Show After Mahek Chahal?
As per the latest gossip mongers, Bigg Boss 12 winner Dipika Kakar has been approached by the makers for Naagin 5 after reports of Bigg Boss 5 runner-up Mahek Chahalbeing approached. However, nothing is been confirmed
Ekta Kapoor’s most-talked-about supernatural show Naagin 4 is coming to an end and it will have a proper conclusive ending rather than ending it abruptly. In fact, Ekta took to her Instagram account and shared an IGTV where she confirmed Naagin 4 is going off-air but with a kickass closure which will make way for Naagin 5. The makers, along with Nia Sharma and Vijayendra Kumeria, will be shooting post the lockdown ends for the climax of Naagin 4 while the plan for Naagin 5 has already been chalked out by the producer. Well, with the arrival of Naagin 5, fans are also waiting with their bated breath to know the lead of the show.
As the makers have yet not announced the new star cast of the show, rumours are rife that Bigg Boss 12 winner Dipika Kakar might become the next Naagin for the fifth season. according to a report in Pinkvilla, “Ekta had been keen on getting Kakar who was last seen in Star Plus’ Kahaan Tum Kahaan Hum onboard for the longest time but with the situation currently, getting Dipika onboard will certainly add to the thrill.” Apart from Dipika, earlier, there were rumour reports suggesting that Bigg Boss 5 runner-up and Salman Khan’s Wanted actress Mahek Chahal is also being considered to play the lead role in Naagin 5. Khatron Ke Khiladi 10 contestant Shivin Narang is reportedly being approached for the lead role as well but nothing of sorts has been confirmed yet.
Meanwhile, Rashami Desai was the latest entrant in the show who played the role of Shalakha – the replacement of Jasmin Bhasin but due to COVID-19 crisis, even she is no longer to be associated with Naagin 4. After the exit of Desai, the makers have also informed the leads of the show Nia and Vijay about the end of the show.
The makers claimed that the decision is not taken on the basis of the budgetary constraints completely, the fact that despite all the experimentations, the show couldn't meet the expectations which forced them to take this step.
