Talking to Mumbai Mirror, Dheeraj shared that he is pretty excited to be a part of the show. "Naagin has emerged as a big brand and I didn’t think twice before giving my nod. I am a fan of the hot Naagin ladies.. my favourite part of the show is watching them dance." He further said that it will be a dream come true moment for him if he gets a chance to dance with the female naagins.

Talking about the challenges one faces while playing a shape-shifting serpent, Dheeraj said, "It’s going to be challenging because I have only played normal, human characters till now.
