Producer Ekta who is gearing up for Naagin 5 is reported to have roped in popular TV actresses Hina Khan and Surbhi Chandna for pivotal roles
Naagin 4 starring Nia Sharma, Vijayendra Kumeria, Rashami Desai going off the air was recently confirmed by producer Ekta Kapoor herself in her Instagram post. Later taking the bait of the 'not so interesting season', as she didn’t pay attention towards the script, she assured fans of the following season to be bigger and better, meeting the expectations of the audience. As she announced the fourth season’s wrap, thus making way for the fifth season comes news of the actresses Ekta Kapoor plans to rope in as serpents in the supernatural thriller, Naagin 5.
As per reports in Pinkvilla, the publication’s source revealed about actresses Hina Khan and Surbhi Chandna being in talks to play leads on the show. Source also reveals the reason behind it, as Hina, as well as Surbhi, have huge fan following, it will prove to be a boon to the show. Publication’s source said, “Ekta has apparently finalised Surbhi Chandna, Ishqbaaz fame and Hina Khan to play Naagins in the fifth season. They were looking for a fresh yet famous face to carry on the Naagin legacy and both these ladies enjoy a massive social media following and are extremely famous amongst the Indian audiences.”
While Surbhi was seen in daily soap Ishqbaaaz in a pivotal role and Sanjivani 2, Hina was seen as Komolika in Ekta Kapoor’s reboot version of Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2.
Also, both the actresses are reported to be in the midst of discussion before they give a final nod to this exciting project. Beyhadh 2 actor Shivin Narang was also reported to be in talks with the makers for the show couple of days ago.
