Naagin- Bhagya Kaa Zehreela Khel: The OG Naagin of TV, Sayantani Ghosh, To Come Onboard With Nia Sharma?
Brace yourselves! If the reports are to be believed, the OG Naagin of TV – Sayantani Ghosh will be seen alongside Nia Sharma and Jasmin Bhasin in Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin- Bhagya Kaa Zehreela Khel
If the recent reports are anything to go by, the cast of Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin - Bhagya Kaa Zehreela Khel has just gotten bigger and better. It turns out the stunning Sayantani Ghosh, who played the first-ever Naagin in Hindi television’s original supernatural thriller series called Naaginn that aired between 2007 and 2009, has joined the likes of Nia Sharma and Jasmin Bhasin for the fourth edition of Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin series. As per Times of India, Sayantani Ghosh will be seen as a naagin in the show.
The portal tried to get in touch with the actress but remained unavailable. However, a source close to the show’s development told to TOI that Sayantani will play the third naagin and her character is supposed to be very crucial. The source was quoted as saying, “Sayantani is known as the original naagin of TV. Her inclusion in the fourth season will be value addition. She will play the third naagin, a character that’s crucial to the storyline. She is now adjusting her dates, as she is also shooting for a daily soap.”
Sayantani Ghosh is a popular name across the telly industry. She has been a part of various daily soaps like Santoshi Maa, Naamkarann, Rishton Ka Mela, Kumkum - Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan and Mahabharat among many others. Well, it would be interesting to see the OG naagin of TV entering Ekta Kapoor’s world of Naagins. However, we wait for an official confirmation. Reportedly, before Nia Sharma, Gauahar Khan was approached to play the main lead in Naagin- Bhagya Kaa Zehreela Khel, but she wasn’t keen on doing any television show for the time being.
