Ganapati Bappa Morya! The entire set of Nach Baliye 9 resounded with joyous exhilaration as the entire cast and crew welcomed visually challenged children from the NGO Shreerang Charitable Trust who create aesthetically beautiful eco-friendly Ganesh idols. The children met the participants and the judges too were elated after knowing about their unique initiative.
The members of Shreerang Charitable Trust explained to everyone present on the sets about how they sculpted and painted the Ganesha idols. Raveena Tandon and the other celebrities had tears in their eyes as one of the members explained how the kids cannot detect and identify colors and he had to add different fragrances to the colors for them to use it accordingly. After the interaction, there wasn’t a single pair of eyes in the audience or on the stage that wasn’t moist! Looking and listening to such real-life artists who have overcome such a big obstacle in their life made everyone really emotional and guess what, the stars started stepping up to offer their support in any way possible to their noble cause!
Maniesh Paul, the ever-joyful anchor pledged an amount of Rs. 51,000 to the cause while the judges and other couples too announced their support. Prince Narula in his own signature style announced to donate the princely sum of 1 lakh Rs. It was a happy moment on the set of Nach Baliye 9 as the happy cries of ‘Ganapti Bappa Morya’ reverberated on the entire set. An emotional Raveena also said, “These children are creating such beautiful idols even after facing such a big challenge in their lives. A feat that even sighted people like us at times are unable to achieve!”
