Namik Paul Dropped From Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 By Ekta Kapoor; Actor Will Now Play Lead In Kavach 2 With Deepika Singh
Since a few days, there were speculations about Namik Paul not taking up Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 and instead starring in Kavach 2 opposite Deepika Singh. SpotboyE.com has now confirmed that the development is indeed true
Here comes a disappointing news for all the fans who were waiting to see Namik Paul enter Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. That's not happening any more. Yes, we know that Namik had confirmed his entry in Ekta's show, but, ever heard of change in mind and plans? However, this one didn't happen in Namik's mind but it was Ekta Kapoor's decision.
That's right! TV Czarina decided about this last moment and Namik was dropped from Erica Fernandes-Parth Samthaan's show. But don't worry, she didn't wrong the actor in anyway. In fact, Ekta made better plans for Namik and gave him the role of main lead in Kavach 2.
A source close to Balaji Productions told SpotboyE.com that Namik auditioned for Kavach 2 and Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, on the same day at Klick Nixon studios. And got finalised for Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. But the twist came when Ekta Kapoor saw his auditions for both the show, and ultimately decided to choose him as the lead of Kavach 2 instead of a supporting cast in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2.
There was also a buzz about Deepika Singh playing the lead in the supernatural series. We got digging on that too and found out that it's indeed Deepika who will be seen as Kavach 2's leading lady.
Meanwhile, now a hunt for Namik's replacement in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 has also begun. You may recall SpotboyE.com was the first to tell you that Ekta Kapoor will bring back Kavach 2 with an all new star cast and it will replace Naagin 3.
